The terms and conditions that govern your use of PromptPilot
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before installing or using the PromptPilot browser extension ("Extension," "Service"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and the PromptPilot team ("we," "us," "our").
By installing, accessing, or using PromptPilot, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must uninstall the Extension and discontinue use of the Service immediately.
PromptPilot is a browser extension for Google Chrome that enhances your experience with AI chat platforms. The Extension analyzes text you enter in AI chat interfaces, provides a quality rating, and optionally suggests an improved version of your prompt. The Service is provided free of charge.
The Extension operates by sending your current prompt input to our secure backend API for analysis. Responses are displayed inline within the Extension's UI overlay. No prompt text is stored or retained by our servers.
By using the Extension, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement. If you are using PromptPilot on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You may use PromptPilot for any lawful personal or professional purpose, including improving prompts you send to supported AI platforms.

PromptPilot and all related code, design, branding, and documentation are the intellectual property of the PromptPilot team. All rights are reserved. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the Extension or its underlying technology.
You retain full ownership of the prompts you type. By submitting a prompt through the Extension for analysis, you grant us a transient, non-exclusive license to process that text solely for the purpose of providing the analysis service. This license expires immediately upon delivery of the analysis result.
PromptPilot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the PromptPilot team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Extension.
PromptPilot integrates with third-party AI platforms (such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini) to detect chat input fields. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any third-party services.
Our backend may use third-party AI APIs to power the analysis feature. These providers operate under their own terms and data processing agreements.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue PromptPilot (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such changes. We may also update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
You may stop using PromptPilot at any time by uninstalling the Extension. We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the Service if we believe you have violated these Terms or are using the Extension in a manner that could harm other users or third parties.
